Anti-DNAH7 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein dynein axonemal heavy chain 7. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 4024 amino acid residues and a mass of 461.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the brain, testis and trachea. It is a member of the Dynein heavy chain protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include axonemal dynein heavy chain 7, ciliary dynein heavy chain 7, dynein heavy chain 7, axonemal, dynein heavy chain-like protein 2, and axonemal beta dynein heavy chain 7. DNAH7 gene orthologs have been reported in the rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some DNAH7 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence are common applications for these antibodies.
