Anti-CCDC106 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein coiled-coil domain containing 106. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 280 amino acid residues and a mass of 32 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. CCDC106 is reported to promote the degradation of p53/TP53 protein and inhibits its transactivity. Synonyms for this target antigen include ZNF581, coiled-coil domain-containing protein 106, protein predicted by clone 23882, and HSU79303. CCDC106 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. Some CCDC106 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
