Anti-FY antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The FY antigen is another term for the human protein atypical chemokine receptor 1 (Duffy blood group), encoded by the ACKR1 gene. The protein is known to function in inflammatory response pathways, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 336 residues and a mass of 35.6 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is expressed in the rectum, placenta, kidney, endometrium, and colon. The FY protein is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family.
