Anti-ACAP1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ArfGAP with coiled-coil, ankyrin repeat and PH domains 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 740 amino acid residues and a mass of 81.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is reported to be highly expressed in the lung and spleen. ACAP1 is known to be involved with protein transport. Post-translational modifications have been described, including phosphorylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include arf-GAP with coiled-coil, ANK repeat and PH domain-containing protein 1, Arf GAP with coiled coil, ANK repeat and PH domains 1, centaurin-beta-1, cnt-b1, and CENTB1. ACAP1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some ACAP1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
