Anti-BRI3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein brain protein I3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 125 amino acid residues and a mass of 13.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus, lysosomes and cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the BRI3 protein family, BRI3 is reported to participate in tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF)-induced cell death. Synonyms for this target antigen include I3 and pRGR2. BRI3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These BRI3 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
