Anti-c-fgr antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the c-fgr antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the FGR gene, which encodes FGR proto-oncogene, Src family tyrosine kinase. This protein is known to function in cell differentiation and innate immune responses, among other biological roles. The human version of c-fgr has a canonical amino acid length of 529 residues and a protein mass of 59.5 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane, mitochondria, and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the tonsil, spleen, lymph node, lung, and bone marrow. Other names for this target antigen include SRC2 and c-src2. Western Blot is the most common application for the c-fgr antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
