Anti-Adaptor related protein complex 1 subunit mu 2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene AP1M2 in humans. The gene may also be known as MU1B, AP1-mu2, HSMU1B, MU-1B, AP-1 complex subunit mu-2, and AP-mu chain family member mu1B. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 48.1 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
