Anti-ZDHHC13 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein zinc finger DHHC-type palmitoyltransferase 13. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 622 amino acid residues and a mass of 70.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasmic vesicles and Golgi. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the DHHC palmitoyltransferase protein family, ZDHHC13 is a reported palmitoyltransferase that could catalyze the addition of palmitate onto various protein substrates (By similarity). Synonyms for this target antigen include HIP3RP, palmitoyltransferase ZDHHC13, DHHC-13, HIP14-related protein, huntingtin interacting protein HIP3RP, and HIP14L. ZDHHC13 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some ZDHHC13 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
