Anti-VSTM2L antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein V-set and transmembrane domain containing 2 like. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 204 amino acid residues and a mass of 22.3 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. VSTM2L is known to be involved with the regulation of apoptosis. Synonyms for this target antigen include V-set and transmembrane domain-containing protein 2-like protein. VSTM2L gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some VSTM2L antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
