Anti-TRIM47 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein tripartite motif containing 47. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 638 amino acid residues and a mass of 69.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the TRIM/RBCC protein family, TRIM47 is known to be involved with protein ubiquitination. Synonyms for this target antigen include RING finger protein 100, gene overexpressed in astrocytoma protein, tripartite motif-containing protein 47, and E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase TRIM47. TRIM47 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of TRIM47 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
