Anti-TOX3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein TOX high mobility group box family member 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 576 amino acid residues and a mass of 63.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in epithelial cells. TOX3 is reported to be a transcriptional coactivator of the p300/CBP-mediated transcription complex. Synonyms for this target antigen include TNRC9, CAG trinucleotide repeat-containing gene F9 protein, trinucleotide repeat-containing gene 9 protein, and CAGF9. TOX3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some TOX3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
