Anti-Nucleoporin 98 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene NUP98 in humans. The gene may also be known as NUP96, ADIR2, NUP196, nuclear pore complex protein Nup98-Nup96, and nuclear pore complex protein Nup98. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 197.6 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
