Anti-Exosome component 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene EXOSC1 in humans. The gene may also be known as P13, CGI-108, CSL4, Csl4p, SKI4, exosome complex component CSL4, and 3'-5' exoribonuclease CSL4 homolog. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 21.5 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
