Anti-TMEM63B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 63B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 832 amino acid residues and a mass of 95 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the CSC1 (TC 1.A.17) protein family, TMEM63B is known to act as a osmosensitive calcium-permeable cation channel (By similarity). Synonyms for this target antigen include CSC1-like protein 2. TMEM63B gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. These TMEM63B antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
