Anti-Zinc finger E-box binding homeobox 2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene ZEB2 in humans. The gene may also be known as HSPC082, SIP-1, SIP1, SMADIP1, SMAD interacting protein 1, and Smad-interacting protein 1. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 136.4 kilodaltons in mass. The ZEB2 marker can be used to identify Fibroblasts.* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
