Anti-SNX5 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein sorting nexin 5. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 404 amino acid residues and a mass of 46.8 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the Sorting nexin protein family, SNX5 is known to be involved in several stages of intracellular trafficking. SNX5 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of SNX5 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
