Anti-RASL10A antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein RAS like family 10 member A. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 203 amino acid residues and a mass of 22.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cell membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the cerebellum and cerebral cortex. A member of the Ras protein family, RASL10A is reported to be a potent inhibitor of cellular proliferation. Synonyms for this target antigen include ras-like protein family member 10A, ras-like protein RRP22, ras-related protein on chromosome 22, and RRP22. RASL10A gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, bovine, frog and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the RASL10A antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
