Anti-HOXA7 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein homeobox A7. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 230 amino acid residues and a mass of 25.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. A member of the Antp homeobox protein family, HOXA7 is known to be involved with angiogenesis and the regulation of transcription. Synonyms for this target antigen include ANTP and HOX1. HOXA7 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some HOXA7 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
