Anti-NOP16 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein NOP16 nucleolar protein. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 178 amino acid residues and a mass of 21.2 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebellum and esophagus. It is a member of the NOP16 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include HSPC185, nucleolar protein 16, HBV pre-S2 trans-regulated protein 3, NOP16 nucleolar protein homolog, hypothetical protein HSPC111, and HSPC111. NOP16 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some NOP16 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
