Anti-NPAS3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein neuronal PAS domain protein 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 933 amino acid residues and a mass of 100.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Alternative splicing is reported to yield 6 different isoforms for this protein. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. NPAS3 is believed to play a broad role in neurogenesis. Synonyms for this target antigen include PAS domain-containing protein 6, basic-helix-loop-helix-PAS protein MOP6, class E basic helix-loop-helix protein 12, member of PAS protein 6, neuronal PAS3, and neuronal PAS domain-containing protein 3.
