Anti-SNW1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein SNW domain containing 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 536 amino acid residues and a mass of 61.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the SNW protein family, SNW1 is known to be involved in pre-mRNA splicing as component of the spliceosome. Synonyms for this target antigen include FUN20, NCOA-62, PRPF45, Prp45, SKIIP, SKIP, SKIP1, and Bx42. SNW1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of SNW1 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
