Anti-Retinal G protein coupled receptor antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene RGR in humans. The gene may also be known as RP44, RPE-retinal G protein-coupled receptor, and RGR-opsin. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 31.9 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
