Anti-Polo like kinase 4 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene PLK4 in humans. The gene may also be known as SAK, MCCRP2, STK18, serine/threonine-protein kinase PLK4, and Snk akin kinase. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 109 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
