Anti-MPP6 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The MPP6 antigen is another term for the human protein protein associated with LIN7 2, MAGUK p55 family member, encoded by the PALS2 gene. The protein is known to function in the assembly of protein complexes, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 540 residues and a mass of 61.1 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane and it is notably expressed in the testis, brain, and kidney with lower levels detectable in other tissues. The MPP6 protein is a member of the MAGUK protein family. Other alias names for MPP6 include VAM-1.
