Anti-HIST2H2AC antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HIST2H2AC is a known alias name of the protein H2A clustered histone 20, encoded by the H2AC20 gene in humans. This 129-amino acid residue protein is an important component of nucleosome. It is localized to the nucleus and chromosomes of the cell and features ubiquitinated, acetylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for HIST2H2AC include H2A, H2A-GL101, and H2A/q. Western Blot is the most common application for the HIST2H2AC antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
