Anti-ADAT1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein adenosine deaminase tRNA specific 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 502 amino acid residues and a mass of 55.4 kDa. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. It is a member of the ADAT1 protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include tRNA-specific adenosine deaminase 1, adenosine deaminase acting on tRNA, tRNA-specific adenosine-37 deaminase, and HADAT1. ADAT1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the ADAT1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
