Anti-KCTD18 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein potassium channel tetramerization domain containing 18. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 426 amino acid residues and a mass of 46.7 kDa. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. KCTD18 is known to be involved with protein oligomerization. Synonyms for this target antigen include BTB/POZ domain-containing protein KCTD18 and potassium channel tetramerisation domain containing 18. KCTD18 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, and Immunofluorescence are common applications for KCTD18 antibodies.
