Anti-TMEM174 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 174. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 243 amino acid residues and a mass of 26.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the ER and cell membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be highly expressed in the kidney. TMEM174 is a reported regulator of plasma phosphate homeostasis. TMEM174 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some TMEM174 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Immunohistochemistry experiments, among other applications.
