Anti-Receptor activity modifying protein 2 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene RAMP2 in humans. The gene may also be known as CRLR activity-modifying protein 2, and calcitonin receptor-like receptor activity modifying protein 2. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 19.6 kilodaltons in mass. The RAMP2 marker can be used to identify Blood Vessel Endothelial Cells.* Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
