Anti-Paired box 7 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene PAX7 in humans. The gene may also be known as HUP1, PAX7B, RMS2, paired box protein Pax-7, and PAX7 transcriptional factor. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 55.1 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
