Anti-OR10A5 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 10 subfamily A member 5. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 317 amino acid residues and a mass of 35.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is reported to be expressed in the tongue. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, OR10A5 is known to be involved with the sensory perception of smell. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include HP3, olfactory receptor 10A1, olfactory receptor 11-403, olfactory receptor OR11-85, olfactory receptor, family 10, subfamily A, member 1, and olfactory receptor 10A5. Immunofluorescence is the most common application for the OR10A5 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunocytochemistry are also common applications.
