Anti-NAP1L2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein nucleosome assembly protein 1 like 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 460 amino acid residues and a mass of 52.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. A member of the Nucleosome assembly protein (NAP) protein family, NAP1L2 is reported to be an acidic protein, which may be involved in interactions with other proteins or DNA. Synonyms for this target antigen include brain specific gene BPX, brain-specific protein, X-linked, and BPX. NAP1L2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse and rat species. These NAP1L2 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
