Anti-GPR15 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein G protein-coupled receptor 15. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 360 amino acid residues and a mass of 40.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is notably expressed in the lymph node, heart muscle, gallbladder, bone marrow, and adrenal gland. A member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family, GPR15 is a suspected chemokine receptor. Synonyms for this target antigen include BOB and brother of Bonzo. GPR15 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of GPR15 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
