Anti-GLTP antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein glycolipid transfer protein. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 209 amino acid residues and a mass of 23.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. It is notably expressed in fibroblasts. A member of the GLTP protein family, GLTP is known to be involved with the metabolism of lipids. GLTP gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some GLTP antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
