Anti-FHL5 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein four and a half LIM domains 5. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 284 amino acid residues and a mass of 32.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus. It is reported to have testis-specific expression. FHL5 is suspected to be involved in the regulation of spermatogenesis. Synonyms for this target antigen include ACT, four and a half LIM domains protein 5, LIM protein ACT, activator of cAMP-responsive element modulator (CREM) in testis, and 1700027G07Rik. FHL5 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some FHL5 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
