Anti-OR2C1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein olfactory receptor family 2 subfamily C member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 312 amino acid residues and a mass of 34.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. It is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 protein family. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. Synonyms for this target antigen include OR2C2P, olfactory receptor 2C1, olfactory receptor 2C2, olfactory receptor OR16-1, olfactory receptor OR16-2, and OLFmf3. OR2C1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat and bovine species. Western Blot is the most common application for the OR2C1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
