Anti-CTIF antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein cap binding complex dependent translation initiation factor. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 598 amino acid residues and a mass of 67.6 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. It is a member of the CTIF protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include KIAA0427, CBP80/20-dependent translation initiation factor, and Gm672. CTIF gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the CTIF antibodies listed below. Immunocytochemistry and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
