Anti-RAB44 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein RAB44, member RAS oncogene family. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1021 amino acid residues and a mass of 110.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the Rab protein family, RAB44 is known to be involved with vesicle-mediated transport. Synonyms for this target antigen include RAS-like, family 13, RASD family, member 3, and ras-related protein Rab-44. RAB44 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, chimpanzee and chicken species.
