Anti-PLCD3 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein phospholipase C delta 3. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 789 amino acid residues and a mass of 89.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane and cytoplasm. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. PLCD3 is known to be involved with angiogenesis and intracellular signal transduction. Synonyms for this target antigen include 1-phosphatidylinositol-4,5-bisphosphate phosphodiesterase delta-3, PLC delta3, phosphoinositide phospholipase C-delta-3, and 1-phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate phosphodiesterase delta-3. PLCD3 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some PLCD3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
