Anti-ANKHD1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ankyrin repeat and KH domain containing 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 2542 amino acid residues and a mass of 269.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 6 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the Mask protein family, ANKHD1 is believed to play a role as a scaffolding protein that may be associated with the abnormal phenotype of leukemia cells. Synonyms for this target antigen include MASK1, PP2500, VBARP, ankyrin repeat and KH domain-containing protein 1, HIV-1 Vpr-binding ankyrin repeat protein, and MASK. Some ANKHD1 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
