Anti-RGS12 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein regulator of G protein signaling 12. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 1447 amino acid residues and a mass of 156.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and cytoplasm. Up to 7 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. RGS12 is reported to regulate G protein-coupled receptor signaling cascades. Synonyms for this target antigen include regulator of G-protein signalling 12. RGS12 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some RGS12 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
