The gene may also be known as MKP3, HH19, PYST1, dual specificity protein phosphatase 6, and MAP kinase phosphatase 3. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 42.3 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, fly, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
