Anti-DNAH12 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein dynein axonemal heavy chain 12. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 3092 amino acid residues and a mass of 356.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 4 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the fallopian tube. It is a member of the Dynein heavy chain protein family. The DNAH12 marker can be used to identify Bronchus Ciliated Cells.* Synonyms for this target antigen include axonemal dynein heavy chain isotype3, ciliary dynein heavy chain 12, dynein heavy chain domain-containing protein 2, dynein, axonemal, heavy polypeptide 12, and axonemal beta dynein heavy chain 12. DNAH12 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. These DNAH12 antibodies are widely used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
