Anti-Decapping mRNA 1A antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene DCP1A in humans. The gene may also be known as Mitc1, HSA275986, Nbla00360, SMAD4IP1, SMIF, mRNA-decapping enzyme 1A, and DCP1 decapping enzyme homolog A. Structurally, the protein is reported to be 63.3 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
