Anti-PDE1B antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein phosphodiesterase 1B. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 536 amino acid residues and a mass of 61.4 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the hippocampus, cerebral cortex, cerebellum, and caudate. A member of the Cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase protein family, PDE1B is known to be involved with monocyte differentiation and signal transduction pathways. Synonyms for this target antigen include PDE1B1, PDES1B, dual specificity calcium/calmodulin-dependent 3',5'-cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase 1B, and HEL-S-79p. PDE1B gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some PDE1B antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
