Anti-NINJ2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein ninjurin 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 142 amino acid residues and a mass of 15.7 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is widely expressed across many tissue types. A member of the Ninjurin protein family, NINJ2 is known to be involved with cell adhesion and nervous system development. Synonyms for this target antigen include nerve injury-induced protein 2. NINJ2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some NINJ2 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. ELISA is a widely used application for these antibodies. Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
