Anti-HIST2H2BF antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HIST2H2BF is a known alias name of the protein H2B clustered histone 18, encoded by the H2BC18 gene in humans. This 126-amino acid residue protein is an important component of nucleosome. It is localized to the nucleus and chromosomes of the cell and features glycosylated, ubiquitinated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Some HIST2H2BF antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. These antibodies are most commonly used in Western Blot experiments, among other applications.
