Anti-SIGLEC3 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the SIGLEC3 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CD33 gene, which encodes CD33 molecule. This protein is known to function in cell adhesion and cell to cell signaling, among other biological roles. The human version of SIGLEC3 has a canonical amino acid length of 364 residues and a protein mass of 39.8 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane of cells and notably expressed in the spleen, salivary gland, lymph node, kidney, and epididymis. This target antigen may also be known as p67. A number of SIGLEC3 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Flow Cytometry is also a common application.
