Anti-TMEM145 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein transmembrane protein 145. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 493 amino acid residues and a mass of 55.5 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. It is notably expressed in the cerebral cortex and small intestine. TMEM145 is known to be involved with GPCR signaling pathways. Post-translational modifications have been described, including glycosylation. TMEM145 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish and chimpanzee species. Western Blot is the most common application for the TMEM145 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
