Anti-Prolyl 4-hydroxylase subunit alpha 1 antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene P4HA1 in humans. The gene may also be known as P4HA, C-P4Halpha(I), and collagen prolyl 4-hydroxylase alpha(I). Structurally, the protein is reported to be 61 kilodaltons in mass. Based on gene name, canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat orthologs may also be found.
